Information you provide directly:

• Contact information: name, email address, company name
• Company details: description, stage, funding status, target market
• Pitch materials: uploaded pitch decks (PDF), Docsend/Drive links
• Professional profiles: LinkedIn URL
• Campaign preferences: target investor type, target customer persona (ICP)
• Subscription and billing information (processed by our payment provider)

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, campaign performance metrics
• Device information: browser type, operating system, IP address
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies for session management and analytics

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Set up and execute outreach campaigns on your behalf
• Personalize campaign messaging with your company details and pitch materials
• Provide you with campaign performance data and reporting
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send transactional emails (campaign updates, invoices, account notices)
• Improve our platform and develop new features
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information to train AI models, sell to third parties, or send unsolicited marketing communications unrelated to your account.

4. Outreach Recipients

When we run campaigns on your behalf, we contact prospects (potential customers or investors) using industry-standard outreach tools. We maintain records of outreach activity to help manage unsubscribes and comply with anti-spam regulations.

Outreach recipients can opt out of future contact at any time by replying to our emails or using unsubscribe links. We honor all opt-out requests promptly.

5. Third-Party Services

We work with trusted service providers to operate the platform:

• Outreach infrastructure (Instantly, Smartlead, and similar tools): to send and track email campaigns. Your company name, product description, and campaign copy are shared with these providers as needed to execute campaigns.
• Payment processing (Stripe): to securely handle subscription billing. We never store your full payment card details.
• Infrastructure (Render, Neon/PostgreSQL): to host and operate the platform.
• Analytics: for aggregate, anonymized usage tracking to improve the product.

All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations. Specifically:

• Account and campaign data: retained for the duration of your subscription plus 24 months
• Billing records: retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations
• Pitch materials you upload: deleted within 90 days of account termination upon request

7. Your Rights (GDPR & Other Privacy Laws)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion: Request erasure of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection: Object to processing of your personal data in certain circumstances
• Restriction: Request we restrict processing of your data while a complaint is resolved

Fundable is a B2B service intended for startup founders and business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or prominent in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
